
Ann & Tony Richardson warmly welcome you to their Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast.
The farm is
an 18th century working farm set in 120 acres
of Woodlands and Pastures. It lies close to a river and is within walking
distance of the
North Yorkshire Moors.
A twenty
minute walk takes you to the village of Glaisdale,
with Butchers shop, General Store Post Office, Garage and a Railway Station
on the
Middlesbrough - Whitby Line.
The Farm is about a mile from the A171 and 8
miles from Whitby with it's Fishing
Port, beautful Abbey, Swing Bridge, Cobbled Streets, Park, Museum and a History
that dates back to the Whaling Industry---
--before that to our famous Yorkshire son Captain Cook
There is a separate lounge for guests with TV, Video and a wide selection of books. Also a guests dining room with a wonderful view of the surrounding area.

The Surrounding Area
Glaisdale village offers, Shop, Butchers, Post Office, and three Public Houses which all serve meals.
The village is next to a river, which can be fished, there are also many public footpaths and Glaisdale is on the Coast-to-Coast walk.
Other villages in
the area, which are all within a 10/15 minute drive from Glaisdale, include
Grosmont, which is home to the North
Yorkshire Steam Railway, which runs from Grosmont to Pickering.
Goathland better known as Aidensfield, from
the popular TV programme Heartbeat, is a 15
min drive away.

York, Scarborough and Middlesbrough are all within an Hour's drive.
